| Use of the marks |

The Institute grants manufacturers the right to use the marks "Giocattoli Sicuri" (toys) and "Sicurezza Controllata" (child care articles, playground equipments, furniture and fashion) on their products upon the successful certification of products' samples, the inspections during the production and signing jointly the appropriate agreement according to codified procedures.
The procedure for granting the right to use the marks is the following:
- The manufacturer presents the appropriate application along with the required samples of the product to be certified.
- Testing starts after the approval of the quotation submitted by the Institute to the manufacturer for conducting the necessary tests and certification procedure.
- Upon the completion of all necessary tests and controls the Institute issues a certificate stating the test results.
The Institute checks with inspections the production on the market of the specific article.
